Effective leaders don’t just manage people, they develop them. This six-part virtual workshop series is designed for up to 10 leaders from your organization who want to coach their teams to higher performance, greater resilience, and lasting success.
They will learn how to empower their people, ask better questions, provide truly constructive feedback, and create a culture of accountability and growth.
Each session blends practical strategies with opportunities for action, helping your leaders build the mindset, communication skills, and coaching techniques that define truly impactful leadership.
Workshop Outline
SESSION ONE
The Mindset of a Developmental Leader
Leaders will learn what developmental leadership is and the impact it can have on your organization, the role of empowerment, the nature of limiting beliefs and how to begin overcoming them, and the importance of self-awareness and how to get more of it.
SESSION TWO
Leading With Integrity & Trust
Leaders will learn the importance of doing what they say they will do, how to communicate clearly and consistently, how trust accelerates progress, and why their own growth is an essential lever to build trust with their people.
SESSION THREE
Coaching Through Conversation
Leaders will learn how to use open-ended questions to facilitate growth, the power of asking versus telling, how to help their people clarify their thinking, how to leverage metaphors and stories to simplify complex concepts, and how to focus on offering options instead of providing answers.
SESSION FOUR
Meeting People Where They Are
Leaders will learn how to adapt their approach to fit different people, how to help their people amplify their strengths and mitigate their weaknesses, how to build structures to support long-term growth, and how to align disparate personalities around a common goal.
SESSION FIVE
Driving Sustainable Action
Leaders will learn how to support their people without micromanaging, and how to help their people define and commit to action, navigate roadblocks along the way, and interrogate and redeem their mistakes.
SESSION SIX
Embracing Growth and Developing Resilience
Leaders will learn how to help their people navigate obstacles and opportunities in healthy ways, leverage constructive feedback to illuminate strengths and weaknesses more clearly, and become more resilient and navigate change gracefully.
How It Works
- Each 90-minute session takes place over Zoom and includes time for lecture, discussion, and Q&A.
- Sessions are spaced apart by 2-4 weeks to ensure participants have time to experiment with new behaviors between sessions.
- Participants will be provided with PDF materials to prompt reflection and action between sessions.
