On Tuesday a man with my name on a sign met me at the airport and drove me to my hotel in his limousine.
It was fun – except sitting alone in the back of a limo is really kind of weird – but riding in limousines has nothing to do with being a big deal.
Neither do Facebook likes, media mentions, awards, or Twitter followers.
Being a big deal is really about making a positive difference in the lives of the people around you. Indeed, making things better for your spouse, your kids, your co-workers, and your friends makes you are a very big deal.
Don’t be fooled by glitz, glamour, and attention…being a big deal always starts with improving things for the people right beside you.
