An assertion: a great way to make enemies is to do meaningful work that is valued by the people you hope to influence.
To be loved by some for the unique value you offer the world is to be reviled by others. That’s the deal.
But If you are going to have enemies – and you will – I can’t imagine a more worthwhile reason.
I’d love to hear about the valuable, treasured, and brave work you are pursuing that just might make some folks your enemies, my friend.
PS: I’m probably going to make a few enemies next Sunday when I publish my first ebook which highlights my beliefs about a better way to think about business. I’m terrified to release it into the world, but I’m convinced that the safe alternative is anything but.
