Dear small business,

I need to remind you of a foundational truth: 

You work for me, I don’t work for you.

While I recognize the need to nurture you, let’s not forget that you exist to support my goals and to help me create the life about which I have always dreamed.

I am smart, driven, and incredibly capable, and you need me a lot more than I need you.

I’m putting you on notice that I am developing the processes, the documentation, and the discipline to delegate, to keep you in your lane.

I love you, but I don’t work for you.
